In my opinion, the best part is how the author incorporates prayers and the concept of God. Often, when we face troubles, we tend to forget about God. However, keeping faith along the side can sometimes be the best approach. I really respect Gina for this!

The phrase I read in this book, “dark times are inevitable,” stirs something within me. Life is bound to throw challenges your way—things you may not be able to handle, or situations you may not have dealt with before. Darker times cannot be controlled in that way, and that insight makes this book truly filled with wisdom!!

It is incredibly difficult for a family to witness a loved one undergoing the heinous disease of cancer while staying by their side. When I read this book, I was moved and deeply grateful for the relationships I have. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to foster gratitude towards their loved ones.
